Keystone Habit – Why is it important?

Just like the keystone is an essential building block in supporting an arch, so too is a keystone habit in keeping all of your other habits in check.

Similarly the average person have such a habit even if that individual doesnt realises it.

This habit can be ether positive or negative on the person overall well being.

For Example, imagine a undergrad university student over the course of the first few months living on campus, have develop the habit of going to bed past mid-night every night.

Thus, waking tired the next day and as a result dosen’t have the focus and alertness that he would have had with a full nights rest.

This habit in a sense has become the Keystone habit for that indivual because it is powerful enough to affect all the other habits.
